Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent eyelash extensions comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash.  They are applied on to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes. Eyelash extensions are for professional application only. Self-application and application by untrained individuals is strongly discouraged

After Care Guide

Enjoy your beautiful new lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle.  To ensure beautiful long-lasting eyelash extensions, follow all of the proper care and maintenance guidelines.

The following activities should be avoided within the first 24 hours:

  • Getting them wet

  • Spray or airbrush tanning

  • Exposure to excessive steam

  • Exposure to excessive heat

  • Contact lenses insertion

The following activities may weaken the adhesive bond and result in premature eyelash extension loss, and therefore be avoided:

  • Excessive exposure to friction

  • Excessive use of oil-based eye care products on or near your eyelashes, such as eye creams, Vaseline and cleansers

  • Use of waterproof cosmetic products on or near the eyelashes, including waterproof mascara and eyeliner

  • Excessive mascara application

  • Use of mechanical or heated curlers

  • Picking or pulling on your eyelashes

  • Excessively rubbing your eyes

  • Letting water from your shower head run directly onto your lashes

  • Chemical treatments, such as eyelash tinting or perming

To prevent damage to your eyelash extensions, care should be taken when receiving any of the following procedures:

  • Strong chemical peels or skin-resurfacing procedures that come in direct contact with the eye area

  • Facial treatments and facial massages

Lash Care Tips
  • Brush lashes from center to tip with mascara wand to maintain them as they grow

  • Sleep on your back or on your side with lashes off the pillow

  • Gently pat lashes dry with a VIVA brand paper towel

  • Do not use eyeliner pencils – opt for felt or pen tip

  • Do not use cotton balls or pads with loose fibers that can catch on your lash extensions

  • Schedule regular touch-up appointments every 2-4 weeks

Schedule your ReLash

It is recommended a ReLash is done every 2-4 weeks after your initial full set. This is to fill in any areas where your lashes shed from it’s natural growth cycle. Depending on your lash growth cycle, it will determine when you come in again for a ReLash. Please make appointments in advance to avoid having to pay for a full set of lashes that are not at least 30% filled. If you are experiencing lash loss sooner than you think check to see when an lash extension falls out if it’s attached to a natural lash. That means it’s fallout was normal because the natural lash reached the end of it’s growth cycle. If you experience heavy shedding or premature lash loss check the Lash After Care page to ensure you are not doing any activities that may be causing it.
