Jody/Owner
Passion is an understatement when describing Jody’s commitment to her clients and the cosmetology industry. Jody enrolled in and graduated cosmetology school before even graduating high school, proving early on that this career was more than a profession — it was her calling.
After opening her first salon in 1993 and later opening Cutting Edge Salon & Boutique in 2012, Jody is now celebrating 39 years of dedication to helping clients look and feel their best. Dependable as a sunrise and committed to making her clients feel as beautiful as a sunset, she has built a career rooted in passion, consistency, and care.
As a salon owner and leader, Jody is dedicated to coaching and mentoring her team of stylists, instilling the core values she believes create success in the industry: education, promptness, dedication, and focus. Through hard work and leadership, she continues to inspire both her clients and her team every day.
Kendall
Kendall's drive and passion for the beauty industry started at a young age, pushing her to complete cosmetology school at the same time as high school.
This same drive has carried her to attend numerous trainings and hair shows to perfect her craft, as she believes education is the key to being a well rounded stylist. Some of her credentials include being certified in Brazilian Blowout, Babe Hair Extensions, JZ Styles Hair Extensions, Bellami Hair Extensions, and being Kenra Color Certified. She is also a k18 certified stylist!
While she enjoys every aspect of the beauty industry, her passion is lived-in hair color and extensions. She prides herself on her low maintenance, blended results.
Dulce
Dulce has had a passion for hair most of her life, she has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 13 years and in that time she has mastered a wide range of hair techniques including: precision cutting, texturizing, razor cutting, and clipper cutting. She also specializes in facial waxing. One of her passions is in the art of coloring. She specializes in "Cutting Edge" coloring techniques such as ombre, balayage, color blocking, color corrections, and vivid fantasy colors. Dulce believes in continued education and stays updated in all the latest trends. Dulce places a high value on listening to her clients and understanding their needs.
Erin
Erin is a passionate stylist that has been in the industry since 2002 and strives to continue growing by staying up to date on new styles and trends. She specializes in color from subtle everyday looks, to more funky and dramatic styles. She pays close attention to the detail while consulting with her client, and strives to give them exactly what they want. Erin is certified in Brazilian Blowout and can give you that smooth and shiny look that everyone wants. Her goal is to make you feel your absolute best before you walk out of the salon and is looking forward to seeing you at your next hair appointment.
Alex
Alex has been passionate about doing hair for as long as she can remember, and has been doing it since 2016. She loves doing fashion colors (fantasy/vivids), blonding, and shag haircuts. The funkier the BETTER!
She is dedicated to her craft, loves learning new techniques, and keeping up on the current trends. Alex loves a challenge and is always willing to put in the time to get to your goal while keeping your hairs integrity in mind.
Balayage, Foilyage, and Ombres are some of her favorite things to do. She is also certified in Brazilian Blowout, Babe Hair Extensions, and Bellami Hair Extensions.
Katie
Katie is passionate about all things beauty. She graduated from Aveda Institute in Tucson, where she found a love of haircolor, hair cutting, and extensions. She is constantly educating herself on the newest trends and techniques to be able to offer every single client in her chair the best hair possible. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, Babe Hair Extensions, Babe Eyelash Extensions, and Bellami Hair Extensions.
Savannah
Savannah has been doing hair in Arizona for 9 years. She loves to see the smile on people's faces when they get a new color or cut. Savannah is certified in Brazilian Blowout and just recently completed a class on 5 new foiling techniques to get the color you see on certain celebrities and in magazines. She is also certified in 4 types of Bellami extensions! Let Savannah create a new look for you or just tidy up your existing haircut!
Paige
Paige has been doing hair for 12 years and has always known that she wanted to be in the industry since a young age. She is always looking to advance herself in her career by learning new techniques that are on the Cutting Edge. Her favorite part of her career is the relationships she builds with her clients by helping them not only look their best, but to also make them feel their best!!
Lexie
Lexie is a hair & makeup artist with 20 years of experience. She knows that for many clients, hair and makeup aren’t intuitive! Because of that, Lexie loves working with clients to determine which colors, cuts and styling techniques work for their hair types, allow for ease of styling, and bring out the best in their features. She takes the time to share which products, tips, and tricks make it easier to recreate your style at home.
Lexie loves helping fine haired clients make the most of what they have. She offers custom color placements, precision hair cutting techniques, and styling education which make fine hair appear fuller.
Lexie’s favorite things to do behind the chair include balayage & modern foiling, short hair - bobs & pixies, bombshell blowouts, special event hair, and makeup artistry.
Kim
Kim is excited to be part of the Cutting Edge team as she launches her second career as a hairstylist! She spent 28 years in education, but now gets to embrace her love for the beauty industry. She is driven by a desire to help every client achieve beautiful hair and feel their very best! She is a graduate of Aveda Institute of Tucson and is also Brazilian Blowout and K18 certified.
Noah
Noah is a master stylist and educator with over 20 years of experience at the highest levels of the hair industry. Renowned for his bespoke precision haircuts and expertly crafted hair color, Noah approaches each client with a tailored, detail-driven philosophy designed to enhance natural beauty and personal style.A chemical texturizing specialist, he is highly skilled in both straightening and perming services across all hair types. Noah’s work is grounded in an unwavering commitment to continued education, with advanced training from industry leaders including Aveda, Toni & Guy, Jamison Shaw, and annual Sassoon cut and color courses attended consistently since 2006.In 2013, Noah achieved the distinction of Board Certified Hair Colorist, a testament to his technical mastery and refined artistic vision. Drawing from decades of education and experience, Noah delivers a sophisticated, modern approach to cosmetology—where precision, innovation, and luxury intersect.
Amanda
Amanda is our Salon Coordinator and the first and last smiling face you see when visiting Cutting Edge Salon & Boutique. It took many years to find someone who could seamlessly manage the salon while also supporting our stylists whenever needed, and Amanda has become an invaluable part of our team.
Amanda graduated from Tucson College of Beauty in 2021 and has discovered her passion for blowouts and special event styling. She loves helping people feel their best and takes pride in putting smiles on clients’ faces while making sure they leave feeling beautiful, confident, and cared for.
Her positive energy, dedication, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences help make Cutting Edge Salon & Boutique feel like home for both our clients and team.
Jaycie
With 16 years of experience in the beauty industry, Jaycie has built a career centered around helping women feel confident, beautiful, and celebrated during some of life’s most meaningful moments. Specializing in bridal and formal hairstyling, she is known for creating elegant, timeless looks while providing a calm and uplifting experience for every client who sits in her chair.

Driven by a passion for beauty that started early on, Mary has been dedicated to the art of esthetics and self-care from the very beginning. Her commitment to growth led her to pursue advanced education and hands-on training, always striving to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver the best results for her clients.
She believes that continued education is the foundation of excellence, which is why she has invested in specialized training across multiple services, including skincare treatments, waxing, micro needling, and advanced technologies like red light therapy.
